Nilfisk, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Compensation Manager to join our global People, Organization & Culture team. As a Compensation Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing compensation strategies across our international operations, with an initial focus on sales incentive plans and bonus schemes. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of compensation practices, sales performance metrics, and global market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage global compensation strategies that align with business objectives and drive sales performance.
  • Design and administer sales incentive plans and bonus schemes to motivate and reward sales teams, ensuring fairness across regions and business units.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of sales compensation programs to assess effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations to optimize plans.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and HR, to ensure alignment of compensation strategies with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, market trends, and regulatory requirements related to compensation and sales incentives, and proactively recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Manage the communication and training efforts related to compensation programs, ensuring understanding and buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure consistency in compensation practices, including job leveling and salary benchmarking, across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to regional compensation teams, serving as a subject matter expert on sales compensation matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in compensation analysis, with a minimum of 5 years focusing on sales incentive plans and bonus schemes, preferably in a global or multi-national organization.
  • Strong understanding of compensation practices, sales performance metrics, and incentive plan design.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and modeling, with advanced skills in Excel or other analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation preferred.
  • Experience with compensation software and systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Workday) is a plus.
