Job Summary:

As an Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for intra- and inter-office communications, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control, and being the main point of contact both internally and externally, ensuring quality and efficient customer service. The Office Coordinator requires an individual who is reliable, client-focused, and able to manage day-to-day operations with efficiency.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma (or equivalent GED) is required.
  • 3-5 years related experience in an office environment is preferred.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Proficiency in working with a variety of software programs is required, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with others using the phone/email/in-person.
  • Able to concentrate in a fast-paced office environment and respond to frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems.
  • Follow and interpret written and oral instructions and use analytical thinking when prioritizing work.
  • Bi-lingual (i.e., English with Spanish or Somali or Hmong, etc.) is preferred.
  • Respond to common inquiries or concerns from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the community.
  • Effectively present information to Senior Management, customers, employees, and public groups as appropriate.
  • Ability to maintain vendor contact information, relationships, and contracts. Facilitate renewals.
