SUMMARY

This position is responsible for designing and implementing modernized supply chain process capabilities within the Cottage Grove, MN and Locust Grove, GA sites. The key focus is understanding end-to-end supply chain processes and systems with a lens towards industry best-practices, to contribute to and develop optimized end-to-end supply chain operating model.

This position:

  • Is recognized as an expert across supply chain.
  • Commands a deep and wide knowledge of the end-to-end supply chain, especially within the technical systems environments and their interactions with other business functions such as finance, order, and engineering.
  • Leads at a business-level across functional organization by enabling business solutions to satisfy business strategies.
  • Is responsible for facilitating, supporting, and managing the business processes and capabilities.
  • Solves complex problems that have a broad impact on the business.
  • Operates without supervision in a complex environment. Act as subject matter expert to train/coach others in the skill within the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works with functional leaders to assess current business capabilities, gaps and opportunities to better connect business objectives to the people, process, technology and data changes needed to achieve them.
  • Recommends and develops standard processes and procedures for functional areas.
  • Works jointly with leadership to facilitate the create of functional area capability assessments and roadmaps.
  • Uses customer expectations to recommends and develop performance measures across the supply chain to drive continuous improvement.
  • Coaches and mentors supply chain employees that are executing daily business processes to achieve optimal results.
  • Shares best practices and lessons learned to develop common supply chain tools and processes.
  • Facilitates and leads complex functional projects and kaizen events focused on continuous improvement of business processes and waste reduction.
  • Performs as a subject matter expert for the business process supported.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4-year degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree and 8-10 years' experience preferred. Demonstrates mastery level of knowledge and expertise within discipline, including relevant methodologies (ERP, Lean, architecture, supplier development).
  • Demonstrated track record of driving innovation and change within information systems and/or business processes. Capable of setting vision and strategy at the business level.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the integration of supply chain processes, data, and systems necessary to support a complete value stream.

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrates Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships.
  • Demonstrated application of a variety of coaching techniques to develop an individual knowledge and skills.
  • Experience with change management strategies and process to require supporting an organization.
  • Demonstrated application of a variety of coaching techniques to develop an individual knowledge and skills.
  • Experience in negotiation and conflict management techniques between two or more parties in a manner that provides a win-win solution for all.

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
