If you are located in Minneapolis, MN, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and strategic counsel on a wide variety of matters including, regulatory compliance and oversight, contracts, STARs, the Inflation Reduction Act, and finance
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs departments

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • Current, active licensure
  • 3+ years of experience as a licensed attorney
  • Demonstrated familiarity with the Medicare Program
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the Federal False Claims Act and Federal Anti-Kickback Statute


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant legal experience in health care
  • Insurance, regulatory, or other healthcare experience
  • Experience providing strategic legal advice as an associate in a law firm setting or as in house counsel
  • Experience with regulatory agencies
  • Demonstrated understanding of business problems related to assigned legal projects and ability to evaluate and determine appropriate course of legal action
  • Proven success in collaborating across a matrixed legal department
  • Well-developed presentation skills
  • Ability to drive results
  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented workplace
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively under time constraints
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with superiors, peers, and subordinates

  • Comfortable taking direction, and accountability for assigned legal projects
