Job Description
Computer/Printer Support Technician
Location: Los Angeles CA, 90095
Duration: 52 week contract
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no on-call requirements)

Candidates must be able to do the following tasks:
- configure printers by hostname or static IP.
- install and configure printers on workstations
- configure iot - any that may be encountered in the environment
- assist and troubleshoot with end-users as needed.
- assist in documenting technical support procedures and maintain CMDB

In addition, the candidates must be able to perform basic computer hardware troubleshooting and remediation, as well as research unfamiliar scenarios. Candidates must be motivated and a self-starter but also know when to consult and escalate issues.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Experience with network printer configuration on various models, including setting up scan to email and scan to network folders on all-in-one printers.
  • Experience adding printers on both Windows and Mac computers
  • Experience running commands in both the Windows command line interface and Mac Terminal, including ping, nslookup, ipconfig etc.

Preferred :
  • Experience editing Configuration Items in Service Now.
  • Networking knowledge in relation to printers and printing, including DNS
  • Experience with remote connection tools such as Bomgar
