BM Trada, part of Element, has an opportunity for a number of Trainee Auditors to join our business on a permanent contract. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the fastest growing organisations within the Testing, Inspection & Certification sector.

Over the course of your time within the academy you will gain valuable experience and understanding of the different audit requirements and codes, plus build the foundations for a career in the Testing, Inspection & Certification industry.

Responsibilities
  • To undertake audit activities (at client's premises or desk-based) and other related services in accordance with BM TRADA Certification procedures
  • To ensure the audit schedules for defined clients are delivered to plan and in line with target objectives
  • Conduct single and multi-discipline audits with high level of detail and information gathering essential
  • Complete all client audit reports and administration to plan and submit to BM TRADA office as required
  • Maintain regular reporting and communication with the client to ensure milestones are met on time and budget and advise of any additional opportunities for cross-selling of services and products
  • To achieve planned personal utilisation levels in line with annual defined targets and objectives
  • To maintain professional status and CPD requirements in accordance with accreditation and business requirements and to develop new audit and product skills as required and requested
Skills / Qualifications
  • Significant industrial experience in various sectors including construction, IT, printing, engineering, manufacturing etc
  • Full training in Management Systems auditing will be provided
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral
  • Prompt, accurate and reliable and an ability to work to deadlines
  • Confident, outgoing and diplomatic, yet firm as necessary along with strong influencing skills
  • Prepared to take on additional challenges as and when they are identified
