Department Statement | Founded in 1819, Colgate is a small, highly selective residential liberal arts college for students of talent who are preparing for lives of leadership and productive citizenship. Colgate University enjoys a strong tradition of philanthropy and engagement and is currently engaged in a historic comprehensive campaign with a goal of $1B. To date, the Campaign for the Third Century has raised over $560M towards this goal. The Office of Annual Giving helps alumni, families, students, and friends contribute directly to the Colgate experience through support of financial aid, student life initiatives, academic programs, research projects, the arts, athletics, and more. The Annual Giving team is charged with boosting the alumni giving rate, meeting Colgate Fund goals ($8.8M in FY23) and driving Presidents' Circle membership including family and student membership. They achieve this goal through marketing, volunteer engagement, outreach, and events. |
