Location(s):Randolph, MN

This position is responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operation of the Baltimore Distribution Terminal. The role includes operation of mobile equipment, moving of railcars, unloading of vessels and handling and storage of fertilizer products.

What you will do:

  • Maintain safe and efficient operations of the dry terminal site
  • Handle shipments for both incoming and outgoing fertilizer products, record data, and make operational corrections as required
  • Operate and monitor equipment
  • Operate computerized and non-computerized control systems
  • Perform terminal site maintenance
  • Unload railcars and trucks
  • Record and enter data readings
  • Manage daily inventory on inbound and outbound products
  • Load product onto railcars and trucks utilizing wheel bucket loaders and material handling systems
  • Required to work overtime and night shift when need arises
  • Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Adhere to local, state and federal governmental regulations and standards
  • Perform landscaping duties such as mowing, cutting weeds, pruning, etc.

What you will bring:

  • Minimal experience required; on the job training provided
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Positive attitude, team-oriented, and reliable
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Willingness to learn with continuous improvement mindset
  • Available for occasional overtime when required and rotating "on-call" shifts
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately once per year) for training courses
  • Must live within a 35-mile radius from the site
