This position would take place in our warm water therapy pool

• Lifeguarding
• Community Swimming lessons
• Some Evening and Saturday morning hours
• Must work at least 20 hour per year.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

• Conduct group and 1:1 aquatic exercise and therapy programs.
  • Conduct programs in compliance with governing disciplines.
  • Conduct 1:1 instruction and hands-on assistance to clients.
  • Monitor clients' progress and make program changes to facilitate clients' maximum independence and achieve fitness goals.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Complete documentation, maintain class rosters and client records.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description, and High school diploma or GED preferred
• 0 to 2 years in teaching aquatics skills preferred
• BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required from American Heart Association or Allina Health within 60 Days and
• Lifeguard Certification from American Red Cross required within 2 weeks of hire
