Job Summary:

The role of the Star Tribune Sales Enablement Coordinator is to plan and execute strategies that empower the sales team to achieve their goals effectively. The Sales Enablement Coordinator is responsible for equipping the sales force with the tools, resources, and training they need to drive revenue growth and enhance customer relationships.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strategy development: collaborate with senior leaders to define the sales enablement strategies aligned with business objectives. Identify areas for improvement and design initiatives to enhance sales performance.
  • Content creation and management: work closely with marketing and product teams to develop sales collateral, presentations and other sales materials. Ensure the sales team has access to up-to-date and relevant content that aligns with customer needs and sales strategies.
  • Sales process optimization: work with sales leadership to streamline sales processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze data and metrics to identify bottlenecks, gaps and areas for improvement in the sales cycle.
  • Sales technology enablement: Evaluate, implement and manage sales enablement technologies, such as CRM systems, marketing automation tools and lead generation systems. Ensure that these tools are effectively utilized and provide maximum value to sales teams.
  • Sales performance measurement: Define key performance indicators for the sales team and establish mechanisms to track and measure performance. Provide regular reports and insights to management, highlighting areas of success and areas of improvement.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: foster strong relationships with other departments, such as marketing, product, operations and IT to align sales enablement initiatives with overall business objectives. Collaborate on join initiatives and ensure effective communication across teams.
  • Continuous improvement: stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies in sales enablement. Continuously seek feedback from the sales team and stakeholders to refine and enhance sales enablement strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales enablement, revenue-facing roles, sales training, or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies in each of these areas.
  • Measurable experience with having a positive impact on business outcomes, such as win rate, quota attainment, length of sales cycle, etc.
  • Experience in executing change management initiatives with established approaches.
  • Understands the sales process and plans for each stage of the sales process.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous media sales experience is strongly preferred.
  • Involvement and participation in sales enablement groups or communities (ideal).
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, including oral and written
  • Confident decision-maker and creative problem-solver.
  • Ability to prioritize work, work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines in a tight timeframe.
