We develop intuitive and easy to use hearing screening devices working to advance hearing healthcare as part of the Demant Group since 1995.

We're hiring a dynamic Sr Sales Manager responsible for leading a high performing team at our Eden Prairie, MN office; driving sales, marketing, customer support, and clinical support of our diverse product portfolio of audiological devices. A successful candidate will be able to maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of distributors covering the United States, define and execute stated business objectives including annual sales growth goals, and manage marketing spend within budgeted amounts.

Responsibilities
    Meet or exceed quarterly/annual sales targets.
  • Maximize MAICO growth by identifying and penetrating under-served markets, retaining existing customers, providing unmatched customer satisfaction, maintaining competitive prices, and implementing best-in-class sales practices.
  • Participate with MAICO global leadership team in development of markets, competitive assessments, and strategic plans.
  • Identifies new opportunities - products, services, pricing, etc. through a continuous surveying of consumer needs, trends, competition and launch of new products.
  • Provide sales forecasts, annual budgets, variance analyses - initiating corrective actions when needed.
  • Manage distributor network in the United States.
  • Grow the business through tradeshows and customer events coordinating all aspects of the event with the marketing team.
  • Oversee training of domestic distributors and their sales teams in accordance with company training objectives and materials.
  • Lead the MAICO US team providing guidance and timely feedback on daily workflow and conduct periodic/annual develop meetings including goal setting that aligns with business objectives.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven ability to grow sales.

  • Competent in all disciplines related to the business cycle including budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Highly organized with the attention to detail.

  • Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Proven supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Resource Management applications.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Communications
  • 7 - 10 Years Medical Sales/Business Development Experience.
  • Experience in the Audiology/ENT field a plus.
  • Previous management experience required.

Travel:

  • This position is subject up to travel up to 40% of the time; to include both domestic and international travel

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
