Job Summary

Are you an analytical person who also likes to provide quality cross-sector customer service? Our National Accounts Finance Department provides reporting for national and/or regional vending and office coffee clients. This position is responsible for the maintenance of sites, machines, and commission rates so that client reporting is accurate and in compliance with contracts, in addition to completing ad-hoc analysis requests.

More specifically, this position works with Client Reporting, including resolving rate variances and working with service providers; Analysis and Reporting by running reports, creating trend analysis, and assisting with budgets process; Data Integrity by reconciling inventory and identifying setup errors; and Month-end Close by producing month end GL entries, formatting commission files, etc.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Resolve rate variances and update SAP where appropriate

* Generate client specific reports and perform monthly research using multiple systems and sources

* Set up new clients and/or client accounts per new contracts

* Produce month-end GL entries between inter-company ledgers

* Perform database maintenance for national accounts

* Create trending analysis for external clients, National Directors, and internal requests as needed

* Run established reports using Business Objects and Access databases for client reporting

* Participate in the budget process related to the Third Party Clients

* Follow-up with Client, Operations, and Accounting departments to correct any processing errors

* Create and maintain national account records across systems

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics strongly preferred; along with one year (two years strongly preferred) experience in an Accounting position required

* Without a Bachelor's degree, an Associate's degree is required, along with three years of experience in an Accounting or Finance position

* Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment to meet time sensitive client deadlines

* Providing excellent customer service and follow-up information to internal and external customers (primarily by telephone) is required

* Strong internal and external communication skills are required

* Ability to provide accurate information is very important

* Must have a thorough understanding of database management and its integrity

* On-the-job intermediate knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access required

* Knowledge of J.D. Edwards or equivalent software is strongly preferred

* Knowledge of SAP or equivalent software preferred

* Knowledge of Business Objects or similar report writer program is preferred

* Specific experience in Accounts Receivable or large-volume account reconciliations a plus
