Element Fleet Management is seeking a Manager, EV Client Engagement to join our team. The Manager, EV Client Engagement is responsible for supporting all planning, executing, and reporting activities related to client EV engagements, serving as Element's primary point of contact by establishing themselves and their team as a critical component for our clients' EV success. This role is responsible for helping Element deepen relationships and for supporting customers in their decarbonization journey. Inherent in this role is coordination of all parties, both internal and external (customers, vendors, etc.) as well as providing leadership and guidance for a team of Project Specialists who will support client EV implementation.

A Day in the Life

Client

  • Develop and own the client EV engagement playbook and organizational RACI; lead client-facing Element teams in the execution of client EV engagements

  • Interface with clients to design engagements, securing support from Element SMEs as required

  • Establish an escalation process to ensure critical issues get immediate visibility to Element executives

  • Support account managers with client specific EV engagement related contract development

  • Lead Project Specialist team in the execution of client engagements

  • Guide and influence clients through the development of their EV engagement transition planning, anchored on engagement design, execution, and measurement

  • Ensure superior client experience

Project Management

  • Design and lead project management activities, holding teams accountable by tracking of KPI's, milestones, etc.

  • Provide coordination between internal Element SMEs, external vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of client engagements

  • Manage escalations with clients, ensuring optimal client experience and rapid issue resolution

  • Develop, manage, and track engagement status including metric/scorecard development, measurement methods, and dashboards

  • Track and implement performance improvement opportunities

Vendor Management

  • Manage vendor performance against SLAs

  • Support identification of new service opportunities and supporting vendors

  • Support client EV engagement related vendor contract development

Shared Accountabilities

  • Capture pilot insights and work with clients to develop a fact base for internal / external publication

  • Provide input into white papers, presentations, executive presentations, etc. regarding pilot design, execution, and client sentiment

  • Provide inputs as needed for any press release or other communication related to client pilots

People Leadership

  • Clearly communicate goals to employees and proactively look for opportunities to adjust tasks and objectives

  • Regularly review performance metrics with direct reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or equivalent and applicable work experience

  • Project/Program Management experience; experience leading client facing engagements

  • Minimum 1-2 years people leadership experience preferred

  • Minimum 5-7 years proven work experience, preferably in client relationship-focused and/or consulting /advisory role

  • PMP or equivalent certification, preferred

  • EV experience is an asset

  • Fleet management experience is an asset

  • Proven track record of effectively planning, managing and executing complex business initiatives, ensuring all stakeholders and direct/indirect team members are accountable, knowledgeable, and driven towards results

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects in an organized fashion

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, change management, and presentation skills (written and verbal) at all levels
