JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior EPM Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining the Oracle EPM application to support the annual planning and forecasting cycles, close and consolidation efforts, and to support various stakeholders, including executive management and our operations teams. This role will also take an active role in training and supporting users of the Oracle EPM application.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business users to gather and document detailed requirements for financial system enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • System Implementation and Support: Key member of the Oracle EPM implementation team. Develop detailed functional specifications and system design documents, plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including user acceptance testing.
  • Model Building: Develop and maintain financial models used for annual budgeting, rolling forecast and organic growth reporting.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute financial reports and dashboards, providing insights to support decision-making.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of financial systems, processes, and configurations.
  • Configure, test, deploy and manage integrations, data load rules, dimensions, forms, and reports.
  • Manage and improve security across supported applications.
  • User Training: Provide training and support to finance teams and end-users on the use of financial systems and new features.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities to streamline financial workflows, reduce manual efforts, and enhance accuracy.
  • Compliance: Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure that financial systems remain compliant.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully; however, in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.
Education, Training, Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, marketing, or related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, CBAP, etc.), preferred.

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • Proven experience (typically 3-5+ years) in financial systems administration, analysis, model building, and implementation, specific to Oracle EPM's Planning and Budgeting, and Close and Consolidation modules.
  • FP&A processes including bottom-up planning, scenario modelling, allocations, account reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and top-side adjustments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and data visualization tools to create actionable insights.
  • Experience in the fire life safety industry, or related service, construction, or manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Ability to build relationships with business leadership, sales teams, and technicians across the national operations network.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Communication Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and communicate in English with employees, customers, and board of directors.
  • Must have the ability to effectively present complex issues to various levels of stakeholders, and facilitate training sessions with various levels of leadership.

Systems and Software Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL, Oracle Fusion, and Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Alteryx, or related data analytics programs preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Other Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record, required.
  • Must be able to comply with Summit's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for long periods. Employee will occasionally be required to drive, bend, kneel, balance, lift <20lb, walk, stand, ascend/descend stairs, reach above and below shoulders, stoop, and twist.
Work Environment:

Employee will consistently be required to work indoors in an office or remote setting, work alone and with others. Employee will occasionally be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, as required by company safety policies. Employee may be required to travel.
