Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Collaborate with Business Power Teams regarding innovation, renovation, and capital projects.
  • Coordinate and support cost build-up, RCA development, material wellness and scale-up efforts with Commercialization and Marketing Team.
  • Work in-concert to build and lead Annual cost improvement initiatives that ensure annual productivity targets are achieved.
  • Provide support to manufacturing facilities and other supply chain functions.
  • Provide process improvement/simplification efforts (i.e., SKU rationalization, packaging standardization and specification consolidation).
  • Lead strategic projects - i.e., material supply asset optimization, sourcing, co-packing, or plant start-up activities.
  • Demonstrate resource understanding and prioritization of projects within portfolio.
  • Provide business planning support for portfolio (Power Teams) segment and plant locations.
  • Monitor Supply Chain performance metrics, providing improvement plan support to plants/Supply Chain functions.
  • Implement and promote business process adoption with teams - to include portfolio project health, stage gate reviews, system adherence and other related project management tools.
  • Benchmark competition and the food industry for new technology and productivity strategy and provide leadership with recommendations including opportunities and risk.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or other Supply Chain functions
  • Aseptic, beverage, or thermal processing experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to multiple Supply Chain and other business disciplines.
  • Experience with new product commercialization and start up procedures.
  • Exposure to Supply Chain ERP, IT transaction systems, and information flow.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Operations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Influence management skills with the ability to manage resources without direct reporting relationships.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Understanding of the Supply Chain cost structure with the ability to interpret cost build-up, trends, and financial statements/reporting.
  • Possess a collaborative leadership style to lead and handle conflict.

Travel Expectation:

  • Some travel required.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • Majority of work is performed in plant and office environment.
