This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the cutting-edge field of quantum computing. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing processes for dry etch of metals on Silicon and III-V materials. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize dry and wet etch patterning processes for metals on Silicon and III-V materials.Conduct research on surface chemistry and physics to improve etching processes.Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate new processes into existing manufacturing operations.Ensure all processes meet industry standards and safety regulations.Document all procedures and results in a clear and concise manner.Work with quantum measurement physicists to identify the metrics on quantum transport devices relevant to patterning process and iterate process based on those. Coordinate etch tools downtime with the on-site equipment engineer and forecast consumable needs or required modifications to the tools.OtherEmbody our Culture and Values
