Reports to: Director of Leasing
Location: Minnetonka or Eagan
                                                                                          

Position Summary/Purpose:

Minnwest is seeking an Equipment Finance Leasing Associate for our Eagan or Minnetonka location. The Equipment Finance Leasing Associate is responsible for providing administrative support and administrative accountabilities to the Leasing Department. In addition to the leasing responsibilities, the EFLA will be introduced to the accountabilities of the Business Banker role and develop a skillset for a business development role.  EFLA will collaborate with Business Bankers to assist with relationship management, ongoing customer communication and active cross selling of related products/services. Responsible for servicing commercial loans in accordance with the bank’s service standards and loan policy.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • High school diploma
  • 3 years banking experience with above satisfactory performance in current position
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify issues, establish priorities and accomplish outcomes in a sequential fashion; anticipates needs and develops alternative course of action in recognition of changing conditions. 
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Assoicate Degree / College Degree
  • 5 years banking experience with above satisfactory performance in current position
  • Action-oriented: the ability to recognize and act on problems with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm
  • Build strong customer relationships and the ability to build customer loyalty
  • Sales Prospecting, Planning and Organizational skills

Working Conditions: Work indoors in a standard office environment. May involve traveling for training or meetings.
