Your Opportunity: Taylor Healthcare, a division of Taylor Corporation, is seeking a Software Support / Implementation Specialist to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for integrating software and assisting external and internal customers on resolving software issues/problems. You will also be responsible for implementations, software support, services, and customer satisfaction.

Your Shift:

  • Monday - Friday from 8:00a to 5:00p or 9:00a to 6:00p, with rotating 24x7 after-hours, on-call responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Implement technical software systems, and solutions into on premises and cloud-based environments.Work with Project Managers or independently.
  • Evaluate client needs, provide support, and develop configurations that support business processes.
  • Assist, respond to customers and provide support on software. Log and update information in a call tracking system.
  • Use knowledge of software, hardware, network, and cloud systems to help support internal and external customers.
  • Support, plan, execute and deliver on problem resolution, Implementation plans, tests and troubleshooting system setups.
  • Provide training, documentation and support of end users or customers. Tier 1 and 2 support for internal and external customers.
  • Adjust to new support and business opportunities.
  • Occasional travel may be needed.

You Must Have:

  • Associates/Bachelor's degree or Technical Certification in IT, Computer Science, related field and /or additional years of experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in systems management, support, software integration (application focused).
  • Experience integrating, supporting, configuring complex software in on-premises, remote and cloud-based environments.
  • Established knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Software Integration and Support environments.
  • Experience supporting end users in a Client Services or Field Service role.
  • Capabilities in SQL scripting.
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • An understanding of basic functions for an ITSM or CRM systems (Call center tracking software usage)
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail with the ability to create, edit, and refine technical documents.
  • US Citizenship and ability to pass government background check, including fingerprinting.

We Would Prefer:

  • Demonstrated experience in Windows OS's (server and desktop), Active Directory Domains, Networks, IIS Web services, load balancing and clustering are all largely favorable.
  • Exposure to, or understanding of any of the following HIS Interfaces such as: HL7, Corepoint, Epic, Cerner, or others.
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, server administration.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, hosted software environments such as Azure or PaaS.
  • Familiarity with monitoring systems using tools such as Solarwinds/Orion is a large plus.
  • Understanding of VMware ESXi and/or Hyper-V server virtualization.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and / or Project Management
