Your Role

We are looking for a Project Architect to join the Atlanta Office. The Project Architect will be the team member primarily responsible for the documentation of and coordination of retail rollout projects.

Your job is to combine design creativity and technical knowledge with business skills and understanding to produce functionally beautiful spaces for clients. It's your job to lead a team of architects and designers to deliver unparalleled architectural projects. With you as part of the design team, architecture has never been so engaging. You will leverage your technical acumen in Revit to drive client projects from concept through build in a collaborative team while mentoring your team members.

What You Will Do

  • Provides solutions to design problems and generates design plans
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of constructions documents in alignment with retail guidelines
  • Participate in the construction administration of project assignments, including quality control
  • Working with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives.
  • Reviews pricing, materials and customization for projects
  • Provides design support for completion/execution of design concepts.
  • Ability to work fast and complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff as well as review drawings and provide feedback

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited school required
  • 6-10 years of related experience, including demonstrated success in retail rollout
  • Extensive experience in Construction Drawings, Code analysis and permitting
  • Extensive Revit experience required
  • Computer skills should include AutoCAD, Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp.
  • Collaborative and team-conscious
  • Coordinate/lead consultants (MEPS)
  • Jungle multiple projects at a time
  • Exposure/lead vertical transportation coordination (escalators and elevators)
  • Exterior facade modifications (waterproofing, etc)
  • Landlord coordination (walking LL through tenant package and getting approvals)
  • Self motivated but team player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Registered Architect required
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and sustainable building practices required. Portfolios should include at least 1 project with this particular focus, and candidates should be prepared to talk to this in their interview, especially built projects with LEED, Living Building Challenge, WELL Building Standard, Fitwell and /or Net Zero Building certification.
