FamilyWise's fully-credentialed High-Fidelity Wraparound youth case management program lifts up family voice and choice so that we can "wrap" the right support around youth and their families. Wages and Benefits

$65,000 - $75,000 annual salary; generous vacation (3 weeks in year 1, increasing after) and sick time policies, plus 9 paid holidays and 3 floating holidays per year; competitive health, dental, life and disability and vision insurance; short- and long-term disability insurance; retirement matching at 3% with immediate vesting. Schedule

This position works during general business hours during the weekdays, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend events or commitments. After initial training and onboarding is complete, this position has the option to work hybrid schedule and has the opportunity for flexible work hours.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as FamilyWise's Clinical Supervisor provides an opportunity to work directly with families, funders, grant writing, system change projects, partnership development, etc. in addition to staff and program oversight, and will include the following:

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Completing Diagnostic Assessments in both the office and community setting to verify eligibility for Wrap youth.
  • Responsible for the clinical supervision of Wrap staff in adherence with targeted case management expectations.
  • Assuring the smooth functioning of clinical services, including quality services, record keeping, program reporting and billing.
  • Assisting in the development of clinical practice and quality assurance policies and procedures.

Oversee Program Development

  • Overseeing the referral intake process and communicating with stakeholders regarding the status of referrals.
  • Planning and evaluating High-Fidelity Wraparound programming.
  • Overseeing monthly billing and monitoring collections, including working with contract managers to resolve billing issues.
  • Developing and maintaining FamilyWise partnerships to benefit families.
  • Creating and implementing new policies and procedures in consultation with the Chief Strategy Officer.
  • Supporting the collection of statistical information and program outcomes in consultation with the Evaluation Program Manager.
  • Monitoring research in the field for updates on best practices.
  • Marketing program to counties and community organizations.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Managing employee and team performance; ensuring adequate training for employees; communicating job expectations and coaching employees; supporting employee professional development aspirations; investigating complaints and performance concerns; implementing disciplinary action as needed and in consultation with MACC Human Resource Services.
  • Managing the hiring process for positions within this team; developing and updating job descriptions; developing performance expectations, identifying essential functions and knowledge, skills and abilities required; assigning work shifts; completing position requisition forms; forming selection committees, if applicable, and ensuring compliance with organization processes for interviewing and selection of employees.
  • Managing and ensuring effective employee relations; creating an ethical, inclusive, non-discriminatory, and safe work environment; establishing effective communication lines/methods; managing conflict, responding to and resolving grievances.
  • Accepting resignations; initiating terminations and executing layoff actions following established protocols.
  • Reviewing and approving leave and overtime requests; completing and reviewing time cards in a timely & detail-oriented manner.
  • Ensuring all personnel changes for this team are entered into the Human Resources Management System in a timely fashion to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Maintaining competencies in contract-required Wraparound models to effectively supervise, coach and train staff.

Who You Are

  • You hold a master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling or another related field, or have demonstrably equivalent knowledge gained through alternative courses of study and life experience.
  • You have a minimum of two years of work experience in management.
  • You have experience working in a nonprofit or mental health setting (preferred).
  • You understand the quality assurance and business aspects of mental health services.
  • Your knowledge and understanding of professional code of ethics is comprehensive.
  • You have strong supervisory skills that foster teamwork and interdependence among staff.
  • You are willing to learn a variety of tasks, have a serious work ethic, and are able to meet deadlines.
  • You possess the ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • You understand the importance of customer service and being professional.
  • You have some knowledge and experience with diverse groups of people of lower socioeconomic conditions.
  • You have experience and skills in conflict management.
  • You have competent skills in MS Office: Word, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Your organizational and communication skills are strong and you are able to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • You can travel to sites within 15 mile radius of the office.
  • You hold licensure in the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • You are willing to complete certification as a High-Fidelity Wraparound Coach.
  • You have a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet FamilyWise's driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit.
