We have an opportunity for a Contrast Specialist to join our Golden Valley, MN team.

You will:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of procedures for contract management and administration as well as tools to enhance the process, throughput, document retention, and sharing of best practices.
  • Coordinate implementation of contract lifecycle management systems, including developing best practices to leverage AI tools where appropriate.
  • Draft, review, revise and negotiate a variety of agreements across Pentair business unit product lines.
  • Assist in all legal aspects of the integration of acquired businesses, which may include due diligence review, coordination of integration projects, review and negotiation of contracts and processes.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions of contract with all manners of third-party vendors for supply of services and goods to Pentair in compliance with internal Delegation of Authority and contract management guidelines.
  • Coordinate the issuance of insurance certificates, bonds, and letters of credit to satisfy contractual requirements and maintain insurance certificates for Vendors and Service Providers.
  • Perform contractual and administrative requirements that are complex and varied in nature, usually requiring some originality, ingenuity, and degree of technical skill.
  • Assist in legal and administrative aspects of trademark registrations and renewals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or certification in Paralegal Studies and strong legal contracts experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, SharePoint, Access and/or other enterprise document and file management tools. Proficiency with AI tools is preferred.
  • Ability to provide excellent, results-oriented and timely customer service in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to be a proactive and reliable collaborator to the business and legal team
  • Ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups.
  • Gain trust quickly of other parties to the negotiations.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
