Directs and oversees activities across all of the organization's accounting functions and legal entities, which may include cost and general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and establishes and implements strategies for reconciling accounts and reporting financial results.

Full-time role Monday - Friday business hours at our Bloomington location.

Essential Functions:
  • Develops and implements organizational accounting policies, ensuring GAAP compliance and maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting procedures
  • Directs the maintenance of the organization's general ledger and oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting
  • Ensuring accuracy of all financial accounting activity, accounts receivable, bank and account reconciliation, accounts payable, line of credit management and reporting, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Oversee and develops the accounting department staff, including team responsible for accounts payable.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to for the annual
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt
  • All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience
  • 3-5 years of effective leadership and strategic experience
  • Strong GAAP knowledge required
  • Experience with Excel, Great Plains, NetSuite, Management Reporter, and Tableau preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required
  • Self-motivated individual with ability to function independently as well as within a team

  • Work in the clinic, office or surgery center during business hours
  • Travel independently throughout the clinic, office or surgery center (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, standing, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required
  • Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines
  • Apply principles of critical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Understand and execute a variety of instructions
  • Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Travel to other work locations, if required
