The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
  • Managing the care of critically ill neonates, as part of a multidisciplinary team, on a 30-bed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
  • Providing NICU care including but not limited to: airway and cardio-respiratory failure, pain and sedation management, enteral and parenteral nutritional support, gastrointestinal diseases, congenital/genetic anomalies, as well as many other medical and surgical diagnosis in infants who span the age range from newly born until 6 months post-conceptual age
  • Schedule is 40 hours per week (three or four- 12 hour shifts/week), rotation to days and nights with weekend and holiday rotation requirements.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Masters of Science in Nursing or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Licensed, Board Certified PA, Neonatal NP or Acute Care Pediatric NP
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in a Level III NICU or in a pediatric critical care setting. Will also consider a new graduate NP, PA, acute care PNP with NICU experience.

*Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
