ABOUT MOLD CRAFT (Westfall Technik)

Mold Craft is located in the northeast corner of the Twin Cities metro area. Since 1964, Mold Craft has been a custom mold maker of injection molds for plastic and metal parts. We offer complete injection mold manufacturing services ranging from design to prototyping to tooling. Tight tolerance and high-volume multi-cavity molds are our specialty -- and our passion. We have a clean and well-managed tooling shop with high-tech, state-of-the-art machines and robotics with motivated employees who embrace this technology and strive to use it to its fullest potential. As a member of our 35-employee team, you will help support our perfection-driven customers and the (9) Westfall molding facilities across North America.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROCESS ENGINEER

From the very inception of a project, our Process Engineer delves deep into understanding the unique molding requirements of our customers. They orchestrate the scheduling of mold samples, guiding each creation through the intricate dance of scientific process development and validation.

Process Engineer is a master of continuous improvement, constantly seeking ways to refine and enhance our processes. They manage the procurement of raw materials, ensuring that every element of our production is of the highest quality.

With a keen eye for detail, our Process Engineer oversees the development of comprehensive mold set-ups, building a database of invaluable knowledge for future endeavors. They champion efficiency, instituting practices that streamline mold-setting processes and maximize productivity.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in manufacturing, plastics, or mechanical engineering is preferred

WORK SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

1st Shift is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Overtime as needed.

Salary: $27 / Per Hour (Based on education and experience)
