PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Assist the operations team by optimizing and maintaining Paint Production Equipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preventive maintenance requirements on manufacturing equipment.
  • Work with all manufacturing groups ensuring parts and tooling meet process expectations.
  • Visually inspect work to ensure desired product quality.
  • Follow safety standards set forth by the company Safety and LOTO programs.
  • Help identify and correct safety hazards and unsafe workplace behaviors.
  • Notifies department team leader when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials etc.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-2 years mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • General experience in using computers and computer applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Experience reading and understanding prints.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Safety conscious.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
