Are you passionate about precision and quality? PDS Tech Commercial Inc. is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Quality Inspectors on first and second shift in Maple Grove, MN.

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our products. Your responsibilities include inspecting PCB boards and production assemblies using electrical, visual, and mechanical methods to ensure they meet specifications. Additionally, you will record inspection details and may assist Quality Engineers with various tasks, such as First Article Inspections and Corrective Action Requests.

Job Duties:

- Provide recommendations for corrective action.

- Interpret blueprints with proficiency.

- Work under general supervision, following guidance from Quality Engineers.

- Adhere to ISO 9001 and AS 9100 work instructions and department procedures.

- Train and assist in the orientation of new hires as necessary.

Job Specifications:

- High School education or equivalent required.

- Electronics and mechanical vocational training desirable.

- Previous experience in a quality or technical role is advantageous.

- Ability to interpret blueprints, inspection procedures, and process sheets.

- Familiarity with measurement tools and inspection equipment for testing electrical components.

- Proficiency in geometric tolerancing and statistical process control is beneficial.

- Required certifications: J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610; potential certification to IPC-A-620.

- Comfortable performing job functions using a microscope, primarily in a sitting position.

- Note: Our client is a US ITAR facility; candidates must comply with export control regulations.

Hours:

- 1st shift: 6 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday

- 2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 11 pm, Monday to Friday

- Pay Rate: $24 or $25/hr, depending on shift

Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.60 per hour
