Job Description

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will assure that services are provided to patients and referring specialists within professional standards and maintains positive work relationships with radiologists and other physicians referring to the company. Day in and day out, you'll be part of a team providing a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures with compassion and integrity to ensure the highest quality, access, service and value to our patients, referring providers and partners.

This is a fulltime day position at our Maplewood center.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(85%) Patient Procedures and Care

  • Assists physician with routine and advanced interventional/vascular procedures, including scrubbing and circulating
  • Supports patient clinic visits
  • Explains and prepares patients for procedures that will be performed
  • Adjusts equipment as necessary
  • Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers
  • Works within company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintains sterile environment during procedures, completes room turnaround within infection control guidelines, and maintains an orderly and clean work area

(10%) Imaging Support

  • Monitors medical supply inventory
  • Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise

(5%) Performs other duties as assigned


Required:

  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of the American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification

Preferred:

  • Interventional radiology/vascular experience
  • Bilingual
