ABOUT THIS POSITION

Reporting to the Director of Ecosystem Effectiveness, the Manager of Sales Training position will drive strategic selling training leveraging best practices and tactics across the field organization. The responsibilities for the role include continually refreshing and enhancing the current sales training curriculum, as well as new training initiatives such as product launches, competitive selling, and global training. This role will better prepare new hires, tenured sales personnel, and sales management for consistent sales execution and growth.

OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE

  • Drive continuous improvements in sales training curriculum and content.
  • Fully integrate strategic sales training curriculum and content into the Inspire new field employee training program.
  • Lead all aspects of Inspire new hire training program.
  • Design, build and implement training initiatives, such as:
    1. Product and program launches.
    2. Competitive selling.
    3. Global selling.
  • Optimize alignment of sales training curriculum with current marketing tools, programs, and organizational goals.
  • Align sales and leadership development priorities with senior leadership.
  • Continuously assess and adapt training curriculum to the evolving needs of the field.
  • Lead all aspects of Learning Management System (LMS) needs, development, and implementation for field positions.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, science, or engineering (Masters' degree a plus).
  • In-depth experience in the medical device industry with a background in sales, sales training, and/or marketing.
  • Experience working cross functionally within an organization.
  • Experience launching new medical technology.
  • High impact communication skills.
  • Proven record of working effectively with sales teams.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) strongly preferred.
  • History of competitive selling.
  • Leadership experience managing and/or building a team.
