Carley Foundry is a manufacturer of premium quality castings located in Blaine, Minnesota. We are proudly making products in America and are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team!
The position requires a minimum 2 year accounting or business degree.  1 year of experience is required in an accounting position. This job covers a wide scope of duties of a financial nature.

Job Description:  Carley Foundry is a manufacturer of premium quality castings located in Blaine, Minnesota. We are proudly making products in America and are seeking either an  Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team!

Requirements:  The position requires a minimum 2 year accounting or business degree.  1 year of experience is required in an accounting position. This job covers a wide variety of duties and tasks of a financial nature.


A/P Job Duties include but not limited to:
  • Match receipts to incoming invoices
  • Obtain invoice approvals
  • Code A/P invoices
  • Enter accounts payable invoices/credit memos
  • Process weekly A/P check run
  • Scanning check run into retention software
  • Research and resolve A/P invoice issues
  • Responsible for monthly vendor statement review
  • Complete month-end close reconciliations in a timely manner
  • Assist with year-end audit preparation
  • Assist with semi-annual inventory 
  • Create manual journal entries
  • Filing
  • Various duties/projects as assigned
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Understanding of the General Ledger
  • Understanding of Sales and Use tax  
  • Proficient with Microsoft ie: Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
  • Reliable and ability to meet deadlines
  • Detailed oriented - Accuracy is a must
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to prioritize
  • Team player
  • Ability to multi-task and work with time constraints
  • Ability to research and resolve problems
