Seagate Minnesota Campus (MNC) is seeking a high technology industry facilities senior controls engineer to join the Plant Engineering staff to support the Facilities staff in maintaining facility operations. The controls engineer will have the responsibility to replace and update controls system hardware, program new and/or modify controls programming, troubleshoot systems, support calibration of controls equipment and sensors, and other duties as needed to ensure proper function of the site's building automation system (BAS). Be able to work with other communication protocols to verify operation or install new equipment. Maintain database of existing programs. Keep documentation for all existing and new systems. Order parts as the facility needs and approve payments. They will also support other aspects of the site operations as required to ensure 24/7 reliability for the site's customers. This role joins the MNC Facilities team of over 40 people and will support Seagate's Bloomington, MN operations - an 800,000 square foot, highly technical facility, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
