The Sales Compensation Senior Analyst is responsible for delivering support for the organization's sales incentive programs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and innovation. Additionally, the role performs routine analyses to inform key strategic decisions and improve program design, process, and governance, driving best practice and velocity for nVent.

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Perform an essential, global analyst role in a key strategic and highly-visible process for nVent

  • Facilitate and administer system-driven sales incentive award calculations, communications and delivery for a dedicated business segment using strong technical skillset and cross-functional collaboration

  • Provide support for other incentive plans & recognition programs

  • Derive insights to inform sales compensation strategies and leadership decisions through development of innovative and standardized analytics

  • Influence sales incentive plan design enhancements through customer feedback and plan performance analyses

  • Pursue continuous improvement opportunities with the sales incentive management process, governance, and controls

  • Provide high-quality internal customer support through issue resolution, change request management, and ad hoc reporting

  • Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Human Resources colleagues globally

  • Partner with the HR Technology team and 3rd party vendors to ensure appropriate system support

  • Ensure ongoing compliance with legal and statutory requirements, globally

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration or related field

  • 7+ years of Compensation, Finance, Sales Operations, or other Analytics-based experience preferred

  • Sales incentive plan design and/or calculations preferred

  • Sales incentive software preferred (e.g. Xactly, Varicent)

  • Experience in a sales or marketing environment a plus
