The Service Technician II will work in-house and travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of crane service technician experience.
Proficient in troubleshooting all electrical controls related to overhead cranes - AC, DC, static step-less, and variable frequency drives
Proficient in troubleshooting all mechanical components of an overhead crane
Proficient in the ability to read and understand prints and drawings
Shows the ability to perform runway surveys
Shows the ability to perform structural upgrade, re-span of crane, runway repairs, etc.
Shows the leadership required to manage projects with multiple technicians performing several different tasks
Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
Lift /Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
Possess the ability to hear.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Subject to working frequently at considerable heights.
