Senior Product Engineer

We are looking for a talented system designer to engage in cross-functional collaboration with internal and external customers and stakeholders. System Designer will be a seasoned, experienced professional with the ability to drive team cohesiveness towards attaining customer satisfaction as well as resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.

To be a successful Product Engineer you should be a self-motivated individual who needs little day-to-day direction after alignment of expectations and responsibilities, work effectively within a team, provide project and program roadmap updates in a tiered-management system, and possess an advanced level of fluency regarding Engineering business systems (ECN, development process, etc.) as well as tool hardware, software, and process functionality.

System Designer responsibilities is engaged with, shows proficiency in, and has ownership for:

Sales / Technical Marketing for coordination of customer specification and configuration

Engineering (Design and Product) for alignment and steering of CIP projects / customer specials

Technical Support for highest level trouble shooting when field teams require factory assist

Operations / Planning for configuration alignment for each specific tool sale

Customers where direct communication in support of configuration alignment is expected

Genpos (together with sales) to ensure alignment of region/customer specific configuration and specifications

Decision-making and decision-recommending responsibilities

  • Continuous improvement roadmaps including content and roll out strategies
  • Advanced trouble-shooting approach with detail relayed to the field teams
  • Design structure architecture

Proven accountability for:

  • Capital equipment install readiness and validation coordination
  • Customer / tool specification / configuration alignment for communication to the factory

Qualifications:

BS or advanced degree with 8+ years of project or product management experience

Specific experience with semiconductor or similar high complexity equipment, remote RF power technology, and fully automated capital equipment is a plus

Experience in the application of lean principles

Proficient in Microsoft Project and / or Monday.com planning application

Certified Project Management Professional

Ability to occasionally travel, including internationally.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong organization and management skills.

High level of formal problem solving skills.

Strong analytical thinker.

Physical Requirements:

Job duties are performed in an office setting or in a clean room environment. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional travel to TEL factory, training facilities and customer locations may be required.
