Role Overview:
This position is responsible to operate and maintain tac truck to spray bituminous asphalt cement oil on roadway surface. Will need to display a professional and courteous attitude with customers and team members.

This is a seasonal position, you can use your winters off to travel, hunt, fish or for other activities you enjoy while your benefits continue year round.
Minimum Qualifications:
As a successful Tac Truck driver you will have:
- Ability to hold and maintain a Class A or B CDL license in accordance with all state and federal
DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.

Duties & Responsibilities
1.Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.

2.Safely and properly perform maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on oil truck.

3.Safely and properly operates truck equipped with oil or bituminous emulsions.

4.Connects hose from storage tank to truck tank and moves lever to fill pressure tank with bituminous liquid.

5.Regulates burner to heat liquid and starts auxiliary pump.

6.Drives truck at constant speed.

7.Completes load tickets

8.Assists construction crews while waiting to unload

9.Maintains proper information in truck cab pouch

10.Inventory and order tac

11.Cleans tac nozzles

12.Barricades commercial parking lots

13.Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.

14.Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.

15.Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.

16.Performs other duties as assigned.
