Roles and Responsibilities
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring quality of goods
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and warehouse employees’ performance
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage area
- Ensure accuracy of shipments and inventory transactions
- Communicate job expectations; supervise and coach warehouse employees
- Determine staffing levels and assign workload to warehouse employees
- Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status
- Identify areas of improvement and establish or adjust existing work procedures and practices
- Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
- Coordinate vehicle repairs/maintenance on fleet of 30+ vehicles
- Process warranty claims/returns
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
- Current, valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs and operate hand tools
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
- Time management skills with the ability to delegate tasks
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software
- Problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Previous warehouse supervisor or manager experience
