The role of Director of Marketing, Uro Oncology is responsible for setting and implementing strategies to maximize brand growth with prioritized HCP and Patient customer segments. Key aspects of the role will involve carrying out a targeted branded promotional communications plan, overseeing the development of promotional tactics across marketing channels, partnering closely with the sales team to ensure strong execution of sales tactics and messaging, and shaping the future strategies for the brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive launch performance of ADSTILADRIN across our key customers

  • Collaborate closely with multiple internal business partners

  • Create a winning culture and coach staff on the team

  • Create a highly collaborative and effective cross-functional marketing team that strives for flawless execution that results in an optimal customer experience

  • Develop marketing strategy, leading market research plans, creating compelling creative campaigns, building and implementing segmentation, helping to evolve brand positioning, and overseeing tactical plan development and execution.

  • Develop, pilot, and deploy insights-driven future strategies and innovations

  • Regularly interface with the sales team to optimize performance, as well as troubleshoot and resolve execution barriers. Help train sales teams on marketing resources and strategy.

  • Develop and deliver on revenue and expense forecast expectations by managing budgets and closely monitor performance to meet brand goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs.

  • Manage advertising agencies to develop and produce engaging creative and tactics via traditional and innovative channels.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree required; MBA preferred

  • HCP and Patient Marketing experience required

  • 8-10 years of experience in in-line/product launch marketing roles for a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company

  • Urology/ Oncology experience preferred

  • Strong collaborative, strategic and tactical marketing skills

  • Advisory board and Speaker Program development experience preferred

  • Demonstrated organizational savvy and self-awareness

  • Planning, process, and results oriented

  • Technology savvy, business oriented and nimble learning abilities required

  • Proven ability to lead change and transformation through influence

  • Strong data analysis required and forecasting skills preferred

  • Understanding of Agile marketing principles and ways of working preferred

  • The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required (up to 25%)

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $220,000 to $260,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees, a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, wellness benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full time employees to accrue up to 120 hours in the first four (4) years of employment, and 160 hours in the fifth (5th) year of employment as well as 12 to 13 paid holidays per year.
