JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $21.00 per hour, plus $1.00 per hour shift differential

Shift: 2nd shift Monday through Friday;3:00pm to 12:30am (Saturdays as needed)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for adhering to Supply Chain schedule efficiently and meet rates daily. Train and develop staff in the window manufacturing process.. Enforce Company policies and procedures regarding safety and Company rules.

  • Planning, scheduling and inventory accuracy
  • Maintain good housekeeping on the line
  • Must be an effective communicator with all team members
  • Must keep schedule on time with no open orders
  • Motivate team to ensure goals are met
  • Insure smooth and efficient start up to workday
  • Respond to any downtime situation and correct immediately or communicate need for support
  • Responsible for operations of your work center to ensure the team is working efficiently & exceeding goals
  • Manages the backorder report and verifies operators are following the re-cut process
  • Audit and train new and existing operators daily per Lead Standard Work
  • Maintain 5 S, a safe work area and ensure all accidents are reported and help in the investigation
  • Know and understand the quality specifications for your Work Center
  • Monitor the WIP levels and backorder report and adjust as required
  • Lead resolution of complex issues or concerns in Work Center
  • Understand and perform root cause analysis and implement corrective action
  • Participate in stand- up meetings and lead them if supervisor is absent
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working hands-on in an Supply Chain environment
  • Experienced in training and directing personnel
  • Must be able to work with all levels of management and staff
  • Have good analytical skills
  • Be pro-active in problem solving
