We are seeking a Senior Lecturer to join us to provide transformative learning experiences. As a Senior Lecturer, you will play a vital role in the academic development and success of our students. About the Department
The University of Minnesota is well known as one of the founding schools for the MIS discipline and is home to the and the. The department of Information and Decision Sciences is seeking applicants for two full-time, annually renewable non-tenure track teaching positions.
The Department has 17 tenured/tenure-track faculty and 5 full-time instructional faculty. The Department teaches courses both at undergraduate and graduate levels as well as performs research in all areas of the information systems discipline including Information Technology (IT) / Information Systems (IS) in organizations, Economics of IS, Design and Management of Systems, Individual and Organizational Decision Support, Knowledge Management, Social Media, and Business Analytics.
The department is also home to the . There is an active doctoral program in information systems with 13 students in residence. Carlson School faculty are among the world's most prolific; the latest AIS Research Rankings puts the U of M's IS faculty 3rd in the world in intellectual contributions.
