The Salesforce Developer will be a Solution Engineer tasked with the detailed technical design and implementation of Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate is a passionate, talented professional who can help us achieve our goals using their coding skills and ability to partner with business areas. In this role, you will have an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your Salesforce knowledge. This role is based at our beautiful offices near Rosemont, Illinois at 8750 W. Bryn Mawr, Chicago IL or at St. Louis Park, MN.

Key Accountabilities

    Serve as a techno-functional analyst on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Service Clouds.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement and keep the team updated with the latest Salesforce features and updates.
  • Author Apex code, configure the platform, and provide impact analysis.
  • Support the development of business cases for new Salesforce initiatives.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the platform roadmap.
  • Implement integrations with external systems and set up data loads through batch processes and APIs.
  • Document and maintain Salesforce system configurations and integrations.
  • Continually build in-depth, practical knowledge of Salesforce and related applications used and supported by the organization.
  • Effectively communicate complex application issues to stakeholders, including management, development teams, and end users.
  • Create and foster partnerships to develop a solid knowledge base of the business.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Salesforce developer role, demonstrating a track record of solution design and implementation.
  • Current Salesforce certifications - Platform Developer I or II required. Administrator certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, Data Pipeline, and the Financial Services Cloud data model preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information technology, with a specific focus on Salesforce environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects/tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences at various levels in the organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience
