SUMMARY

Andersen is looking for an accomplished, driven, and collaborative Project Leader on our Research, Development, and Innovation team to drive the next wave of new product development projects. Want to join our team?

There has never been a more exciting time to be a Project Leader at Andersen.This project leader will be an integral part of the New Product Development Engineering team. The purpose of this role is to utilize project management tools and processes in a highly cross functional environment to drive the implementation of new products and services that enable us to serve customers in new markets and chart the course for advances in future innovations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Use project management methods to initiate and execute medium/large cross functional projects while effectively navigating challenges with a problem-solving mindset.

* Identify business opportunities and requirements within each project, collaborate with the project team to develop approaches to resolve them, and work with leadership to prioritize the implementation.

* Motivate and establish a high-performance culture within the project team. Guiding them towards creative thinking, transparency, and holding them accountable for their work/performance including goals and deadlines.

* Responsible for regular updates within the team and to stakeholders. Emphasis on transparent escalation of challenges while maintaining a positive team culture.


QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

Minimum Qualifications:

* BS or BA, Minimum 10 years relevant experience with 5+ years leading multi-year product developmentinitiatives.

* Strong analytical skills and aptitude for problemsolving.

* Excellent relationship building and communicationskills.

* Experience working in a highly cross functional environment with all areas of the business.

Preferred Qualifications:

* PMP certification or equivalent

* MBA or technical master's degree

* Strong aptitude in working with technical process improvement, manufacturing, and equipment procurement.

* Strong understanding of relevant methodologies and tools (DMAIC, Stage Gate development, PMBOK, etc.)

* Strong knowledge of lean, manufacturing, business, and quality systems

* Experience working with external Business/Project Partners.

SALARY INFORMATION:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. In addition to your pay, Andersen Corporation currently offers benefits such as comprehensive health benefits, 401k contribution, paid time off, 8 paid standard holidays, plus 2 floating holidays, a robust employee Wellbeing program, as well as profit sharing (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
