Job Description

The Department of Economics at Augsburg University invites applications for present and future adjunct teaching positions. In general, our most frequent needs are for instructors for Principles of Macroeconomics (ECO 112) and Principles of Microeconomics (ECO 113). Classes are offered in the fall and spring semesters, during the day and in person.Responsibilities include grading and teaching the class, regular email access for students, and office hours as needed.

This is a union position, covered by a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU. Pay starts at $4,750 per course.

Augsburg's Economics Department stresses active, experiential learning and is now housed in our newest building, the Hagfors Center for Science, Business, and Religion.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in economics.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in economics or related field. Experience teaching undergraduates preferred.
