As a Business IT Applications Lead at Bruker, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing various software applications used by our organization. You will identify automation opportunities and develop cutting-edge automation solutions for common IT tasks, driving efficiency and productivity across the company.

Responsibilities
    Being technical lead and visionary for activities in the Business Applications department e.g.
    • Making high-level design choices
    • Determining technical standards including industry standards, tools and/or platforms
  • Review and improve existing systems, making use of new technologies and methodologies to seek continual improvement
  • Provide consulting services to IT organizations and/or business application owners
  • Performing 2nd Level Support for business applications and services
  • Automation of common IT processes.
  • Engages with various Bruker business and stakeholders to improve data quality, align on data dependent processes and communicate pro-actively security configuration changes.
  • Develops & Communicates standard IT policies/procedures with regards to:
    • Incident, risk & change management of business applications
    • Application availability process (Scheduling, Backup/Downtime Scenarios)
  • Manages key vendor relationships and continually drives cost optimization with regard to:
    • Business applications and enterprise wide software (e.g., Microsoft, TeamViewer, etc.)
    • Consulting relationships for installation of business applications
    • Outsourcing relationships for maintenance/upkeep of business applications
  • Key contributor to annual Global IT Business Applications budget and multi-year strategic planning process.
  • Responsible for the security and integrity of business applications
  • Create, implement, and maintain risk standards for the corporation to minimize IT risk globally
  • Work with key business leaders to build relationships, influence others and promote the overall Bruker information security program as well as the application security strategy, roadmap and other key messages as warranted
  • Supports various business IT applications and is accountable for application uptime, costs, and user satisfaction.
  • Identifies common IT tasks that can be automated and using available automation tools, automates the process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in developing automation solutions using PowerShell, the Microsoft Platform, and Matrix42.
  • Strong understanding of IT applications and business processes, with the ability to identify automation opportunities and optimize workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support global automation initiatives.
