Your Title: Business Development Representative

Job Location: Remote - USA

Our Department: Sales - NA Mobility - Transportation Sector

What You Will Do

- A Day In The Life

  • Identify new prospects and opportunities through outbound calling/lead generation activities, Channel Partners, Trade Show attendees, RigDig, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo and other similar search tools (5%)

  • Document all interactions, set appointments, maintain files, report progress and forecasts into our SalesForce CRM (10%)

  • Consistent navigation through organizations, doing deep discovery and speaking to multiple decision makers to generate qualified opportunities that progress through the sales funnel, generating new revenue (10%)

  • Conduct high volume (40+) of phone calls in addition to using multiple contact channels to reach key decision makers (50%)

  • Participate on project teams as needed to support Sales and Marketing initiatives (5%)

  • Coordinate targeted account outreach in high yield industry verticals with sales to divide activity and accelerate market development (10%)

  • Respond to email inquiries, answer incoming calls, redirect calls, and manage inbound chat (5%)

  • Qualify inbound leads, creating opportunities and next steps for Account Executives (5%)

- Role Progression

-----Within 1 month, you will:

  • Complete new hire on-boarding including eLearning courses, shadowing, coaching

  • Learn best practices and business tools used including, but not limited to, Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, G-Suite, Drift, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn and Netsuite

  • Earn a high-level knowledge of our industry and market trends

-----Within 3 months, you will:

  • Develop your own personal prospecting brand

  • Interact on a frequent basis with prospects and customers

  • Track records of all prospecting and sales activities within Salesforce

  • Understand critical competitive information and discover customer needs

  • Successfully adjust to metric-driven environment within your territory

  • Execute a high volume of activity with inbound and outbound phone calls, emails, and social outreach

  • Conduct effective discovery calls to ensure leads will convert

-----Within 6 months, you will:

  • Show strong knowledge of product features, use cases, and competitive landscape

  • Support the advancement of the sales lifecycle for the opportunities specifically including lead nurturing/qualification and deal support

  • Demonstrate confidence and persistence in your pursuit of qualified leads

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring

  • Comfortable making consistent calls and talking to new people each day with the ability to convey commercial insight

  • Ability to multitask, take initiative, prioritize, and manage your time effectively

  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching the next potential client

  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

  • Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor's offerings

  • Thrive in a small team environment where you can make a big impact

  • Experience utilizing a marketing automation tool; CRM database

  • Competent with MS Office and/or Google Suite

  • <5% Travel

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Experience with SalesForce CRM

  • Transportation or Supply Chain Industry Experience

  • Understandingof SaaS Technologies and Sales

  • BA or Prior Business Development, Inside Sales or Lead Development Experience

  • Experience with Sales Engagement Platforms, Outreach Inc.

  • Experience with a solution-selling methodology or proven experience learning a complicated vertical and/or sales process
