Your Title: Sr. Program Manager

Job Location: Hybrid or On-site - Minneapolis, MN

What You Will Do

The role is pivotal in ensuring the business delivers products and functionality in line with expectations and commitments. As the Sr. Program Manager you are the glue between our Product Management and Engineering teams. You will ensure delivery of some of our most critical initiatives across multiple teams. You will facilitate cross-team collaboration, cross-functional communication, and engineering efficiency.Primary responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple enterprise level projects and programs simultaneously including risk assessment and mitigation

  • Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, balance business needs versus technical constraints and refine scope to deliver the best product possible on schedule

  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans

  • Oversees/facilitates all aspects of the development/implementation of a project or program involving department or cross-functional teams, & interfacing with all internal/external stakeholders throughout the project or program lifecycle (initiation to close)

  • Collaborate across team boundaries including acting as a liaison for engineering with partners in Product Management, UX Design, Marketing, Partnership and other business units where applicable

  • Continually estimate and coordinate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion

  • Act as a conduit between the customer facing resources and the internal product and engineering teams to ensure clear communication and consistency of customer requirements and expected timelines

  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team and between project teams

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path

  • Motivate project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their actions

  • Plan and schedule and track program and project timelines, milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools

  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary

  • Where required, negotiate with other department or business unit managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations

  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements

  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring

  • 6+ years experience in software Program Management

  • Product Management experience

  • Revenue facing experience

  • SaaS background

  • Go-to-Market Strategy experience

  • Experience as a Strategic Partner for senior business leaders

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field

  • Familiarity with current web and mobile development technologies, distributed architecture, and agile development methodology

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities and still meet aggressive schedules

  • Comfortable interacting with a diverse set of technical and non-technical team members

  • Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines

  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating

  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments/lines of business

  • Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity

  • Strong written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products

  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitivity environment

  • Experience in Business Process Improvements/Change Management

  • Technically competent with Google Workspace tools and Aha!

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • PMP certification

  • Relational Database experience preferably MS SQL Server

  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies as it relates to commercially available software packages
