Your Title: Strategic Sales Manager

Job Location: Remote-based within USA or Canada

What You Will Do

The Strategic Account Managerwill be dedicated to prospecting, closing, and assisting in the facilitation of largeNational Accounts across the USfor fleets that have 500 trucks or more and are not currently customers of PeopleNet.Primary responsibilities include:

  • Exceed monthly, quarterly, and annualsalesand shipment goals

  • Increase Market share within the accounts

  • Maintain product and service margin through contract negotiations

  • Manage expenses effectively

  • Maintain an accurate and timely forecast

  • Build a robust pipeline through prospecting and networking

  • Strategically identify account needs for each account and effectively utilize internal resources to move the account through the pipeline life cycle; including evaluations when necessary

  • Build multiple relationships within each account to maximize PeopleNetexposure

  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of the transportation industry, the issues facing transportation operators and the solutions that On Board Communication provides

  • Update all information, correspondence, and data fields in NetSuite (CRM System) on a continuous basis

  • Travel 75% of the time while maintaining a professional company image

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring

  • 3+ years experience in technology or transportationsales.

  • Extensive training in solutions selling, negotiations, and technologysales.

  • Demonstrated success as a topsalesperformer, consistently exceeding quota.

  • Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire new business.

  • Able to travel 75%.

Preferred Skills And Experience

  • Bachelors or Master's Degree

  • Competitive

  • Highly Motivated

  • Detailed experience with HTML integration, SQL server database integration, AS400 integration, and working around the challenges of integrating systems
