Job Summary

The Office Manager of the County Attorney's Office manages the administrative and support functions of the County Attorney's office. Develops, establishes and implements procedures; provides advice and daily oversight of office policies, budget and financial operations; assists the County Attorney with long-range planning to ensure efficient operation of the entire office, including Assistant Attorneys and support staff.

Examples of Duties

  • Coordinates office operations and plans, recommends and implements office administrative procedures.
  • Assists and backs up the County Attorney on personnel issues for all Assistant Attorneys and support staff.
  • Assists with preparation of annual budget, monitors budget administration and informs County Attorney of concerns.
  • Acts as IT Liaison for the County Attorney's Office.
  • Acts as a liaison between the County Attorney's office and outside agencies, (e.g. Minnesota Counties Computer Cooperative and Information Security Committee).
  • Performs other duties as necessary.

This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or legal degree, and six or more years of law office, accounting, and management experience. A valid driver's license is required.

Supplemental Information

HIRING RANGE / UNION: $29.74 - $41.74 per hour / Non-Union - Grade 11

HOURS: Full-time. Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 5:00p.m., with a one hour lunch break making a 40 hour work week.
