Position Summary

With the support of the Bracco PMO team, the R&D Program Management Co-op will develop a strong model for how true customer needs are identified, prioritized, scoped, and developed into technologies that impact the lives and health of patients around the world. In this role, you will help the PMO team develop a future state model for an end-to-end product lifecycle process. You will develop an understanding of the various product development stakeholders, benchmark successful product development models, map out the necessary business decisions and knowledge/deliverable gates across the lifecycle, and develop an implementation plan to set the stage for ongoing improvement efforts.

In this role you'll enjoy strong visibility and engagement with the engineering, marketing, operations, and executive-level leadership teams. You will be expected to formulate a vision and actionable ideas and communicate them strongly and persuasively to present a clear picture the benefits of the proposed future state. You will be part of a fast-paced an innovative team where ownership and accountability is paramount. A successful candidate will help set in place a business strategy that will be foundational for ongoing improvements over the next several years.

Responsibilities

  • Provide input and analysis on BMT's project management practices, tools and systems to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Identify and implement process and system improvement projects to drive greater project management consistency and improve the overall state of project management at BMT
  • Generate high-level plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Provide direction and support to project team and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.

Training to be Provided

Students will be exposed to working with various departments within Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT). They will learn key requirements which need to be followed in a regulated environment such as the medical device industry.

Additionally, our interns and co-ops benefit from a buddy program, career development programming, and opportunities to build their professional networks virtually and in-person with BMT professionals.


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
  • Bachelors or Master's students interested in Strategic Management, Supply Chain/Operations Management, general Organizational Leadership/Management, or combined science/engineering and business background (i.e., science/engineering and business double majors or MBA students with a science/engineering BA or BS)
  • Self-motivated and dedicated with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to effectively transfer ideas, concepts and information
  • Ability to work with various internal and external customers in a professional manner with proven experience collaborating across functions/groups
  • Strong focus on career development and a desire to pursue experience in project management in a technical environment
  • Prior internship(s), group or personal project exposure, TA and/or work experience

Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Bracco Medical Technologies/ACIST Medical Systems.

Job Location

  • Eden Prairie, Minnesota (no relocation or housing assistance available)

Term/Hours

  • Spring 2023 start, 2-3 semester rotation, can be consecutive or non-consecutive semesters.
  • Hours: 40 hours/week
