Jefferson College of Pharmacy of Thomas Jefferson University is now accepting applications for a full-time, calendar year, employed faculty position in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacology.

Applications are currently being invited for a 12-month, Assistant Professor position on the teacher-scholar track in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Jefferson College of Pharmacy, Thomas Jefferson University.

  • Hold a PhD in Pharmacology or a related discipline.
  • Possess a minimum of four years of postdoctoral training and six years of research experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong track record of publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals or equivalent.
  • Embrace the responsibilities of teaching, research, and service to the Department, College, and University.
  • Complementary and specific expertise in Pharmacology is highly desired, with particular interests in areas such as Infectious diseases, hepatic, gastrointestinal, pulmonary, CNS pharmacology, and Immunology.
  • Prior teaching experience in pharmacy-related areas is also highly desirable.

Applicants must have a PhD in Pharmacology or related discipline, significant postdoctoral research experience, and publications in peer-reviewed international scientific journals or equivalent. Previous teaching experience in pharmacy related areas is desirable.
