About the Job

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Maintain cell lines, develop novel differentiation protocols in iPSC cells in a 3D bioprinting format, develop organ-on-a-chip platforms, animal surgeries, collect data, create experimental designs - 70%
Maintain lab notebook, analyze data, supervise undergraduate interns work on related research projects - 10%
Grant writing - 20%

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- PhD
- Expertise in human stem cell culture
- Expertise in human neural progenitor cell culture
- Expertise in 3D bioprinting techniques
- Experience in rodent surgery models
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in grant writing

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the development of animal models
- Experience with tissue clearing
- Experience with human neural organoid culture
- Experience with patch clamp electrophysiology
- Experience with statistical analysis of experimental data in R, Python and Matlab
- Experience working with RNAseq samples/data
