What will you be doing?

Perform regular administrative tasks and overall office organization

  • Greet visitors and customers with a positive demeanor
  • Coordinate and set up meetings, handle calendars, and schedule travel
  • Set up, organize, and manage filing systems
  • Prepare documents, perform record keeping and filing duties as necessary
  • Proofread communications and documents carefully
  • Proofread and perform quality inspections on field documentation
  • Collaborate with craft/technician personnel
  • Prepare billing/invoices as needed
  • Perform timekeeping functions for craft/technician team members
  • Coordination between numerous support groups; Safety, Human Resources, IT, Legal
  • Utilizing Mortenson's internal procurement system, procure miscellaneous goods

Other duties as assigned, including:

  • Understand the operating group and company resources
  • Risk Management, Pre-construction, Human Resources, Legal, Environmental Health and Safety, IT
  • Assist Operating Group team members with miscellaneous duties
How will you succeed?
  • Detail orientation and the capability to proofread effectively
  • Demonstrate flexibility as well as excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Display proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Exhibit effective communication and active listening skills
  • Positive professional attitude and strong customer service skills
  • Minimum three years administrative support experience required
  • Construction-related business experience preferred
  • Experience with billing, invoicing, and timekeeping preferred


  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred
